I have very few rules in life, but here's one of them: Any time Pedro Martinez pitches against Derek Lowe, Nomar Garciaparra and Grady Little in a National League game taking place 3,000 miles from Boston, and the date of the game happens to be 6/6/6, I have to attend this game and write a column about it.
