Low-key cap casualty day

As expected, the June 1 salary cap casualty day passed without any big news. Only two veterans were cut -- Seahawks wide receiver Alex Bannister and Texans offensive lineman Matt Murphy. Murphy was making the NFL minimum salary and Bannister was making only $700,000. So neither player was released for cap reasons.
