First Period -- Group Hug Early in the second period of Game 3 between the Hurricanes and Canadiens, Niclas Wallin was chasing down Montreal's Tomas Plekanec, who was breaking in alone on goalie Cam Ward. Wallin made a beautiful play, using speed and body position, and slapped at Plekanec's stick. Not a two-hand Kirk Maltby special, but a tactical flick that broke up the play.
