Special to ESPN Insider Tuesday, March 21, 2006 A daily glance inside the numbers from the world of sports: NHL • Martin Brodeur made his 30th consecutive start Tuesday for the Devils, the second-longest single-season streak of his career. Brodeur started the last 44 games of the 1995-96 season for New Jersey. The last NHL goaltender to start 30 consecutive games for his team was Tomas Vokoun, who started the last 38 games of the 2002-03 season for the Nashville Predators.
