COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- South Carolina remembers how much fun it had at the NIT in New York last year. The Gamecocks hope to be back in the Big Apple to defend the title. Seniors Tarence Kinsey scored 23 points and Antoine Tisby added 16 to lift South Carolina to a 74-55 victory over Western Kentucky on Wednesday night in the first round of the NIT.
