It took two months and a few days, but I'm here at The Cooler to announce that the 2006 calendar year hath finally begun. It happened in a quiet place, too. It happened in Maryvale, Ariz., on Thursday. I was in front of the concession stand. It first required a quick phone call, though, to my buddy Schuchie.
