PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) -- Doug Mirabelli hit a three-run homer and the San Diego Padres finished with 20 hits in a 17-4 win over the Seattle Mariners on Saturday. The defending NL West champion Padres got all their runs in the final six innings, taking a 10-1 lead in the sixth when Mirabelli homered off Scott Atchison, Seattle's third pitcher and the loser. Atchison pitched 1 2-3 innings, giving up eight runs on nine hits. San Diego had seven extra base hits, including a two-run triple by Josh Bar ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
