BOSTON (AP) -- Shawn James scored a career-high 26 points and added 10 rebounds and 10 blocked shots as Northeastern held off Virginia Commonwealth 79-74 on Saturday. Northeastern (13-8, 9-4 Colonial) led by as many as 13 in the second half, but VCU pulled within five, 76-71, on Alexander Harper's 3-pointer with 27.9 seconds left.
