It took months of rumors, but the Tampa Bay Devil Rays finally traded closer Danys Baez, shipping him and setup man Lance Carter to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Jan. 14 in exchange for pitching prospects Edwin Jackson and Chuck Tiffany. The Baez deal creates questions on both sides for fantasy owners to ponder; it leaves an opening at the back end of the Tampa Bay bullpen, and it also raises some doubts about Eric Gagne's health.
