Anderson signs with Jets to retire

Anderson HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. -- Fullback Richie Anderson signed with the New York Jets on Wednesday so he could retire as a member of the team. Anderson was out of football in 2005 after the Cowboys cut him last April. He spent the first 10 seasons of his career with the Jets after being taken in the sixth round of the 1993 draft.
