Thrashers claim winger Fata from Penguins

ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Thrashers claimed left wing Rico Fata, who is scoreless in 20 games this season, off waivers from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday. Fata, 25, is two years removed from his best season, when he set career highs with 16 goals and 34 points in 73 games for the Penguins in 2003-04.
