HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) -- Jason Forte scored 20 points to lead Southern Mississippi to a 67-55 win over Tulane in the Conference USA opener for both teams Wednesday night. The win snapped a two-game losing streak for Southern Miss (7-9, 1-0) and gives the Golden Eagles a winning record in league play for the first time in three seasons.
