Special to ESPN.com Monday, January 9, 2006 Well, here we are at the halfway point of the 2005-06 NHL season. This time last year we were overdosed on E.J. Hradek, Bob McKenzie and an Internet pirate named Eklund. Was there going to be a season or not? I was convinced the players would cut a deal, knowing that February was when they would get the best one possible. I'll never concede the lost season was at all positive. It is a black mark that will always be on the records of all involved, another example of how grown men act unciviliz ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
