ESPN.com Monday, December 26, 2005 Much of the drama was removed from the NFL playoff race over the weekend. The list of playoff contenders shrunk from 17 to 14. Five of the six AFC playoff spots have been nailed down. The top two seeds in each conference are established. Only two teams currently on the outside looking in -- Dallas in the NFC and Kansas City in the AFC -- have a chance of making the playoffs, but their fates are dependent on other teams losing.
