This is, of course, a happy time of the year, a time to appreciate the fruits of two seasons -- the holiday season and the college football season. 'Tis better to give than to receive, and as we take a break and savor another great regular season while awaiting the next dot.com bowl in anticipation of the Jan. 2-4 heavyweights, there are a number of people to whom I'd like to pass along a gift.
