ESPN.com Saturday, December 3, 2005 Temple has offered its head coaching job to Virginia defensive coordinator Al Golden, a source with knowledge of the negotiations said, and the 36-year-old is considering whether to accept. Golden, 36, came to Virginia with coach Al Groh five seasons ago as a linebacker coach, from Penn State, where Golden played linebacker for Joe Paterno and coached on his staff.
