WASHINGTON (AP) -- As expected, Mike Hall and J.R. Pinnock have taken on expanded roles for George Washington during star Pops Mensah-Bonsu's suspension. Freshman Montrell McDonald is helping fill the void, too. Pinnock scored 14 of his 19 points after halftime, Hall added 18 and McDonald made a key defensive play to help George Washington (No. 22 ESPN/USA Today, No. 21 AP) beat Norfolk State 80-69 on Saturday for its second straight victory without Mensah-Bonsu.
