You could make a solid case that Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love were the worst celebrity couple ever. He was a self-loathing, introspective genius with a serious drug problem, she was a manipulative, out-of-control lunatic with a serious drug problem, and they loved making each other miserable and doing drugs together.
