SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (AP) -- Anton Clarkson passed for 415 yards and ran for a touchdown as Hofstra beat Rhode Island 38-24 on Saturday. Clarkson completed 29 of 36 passes for Hofstra (5-3, 3-2 A10). Devale Ellis caught 11 passes for 138 yards and wideout Charles Sullivan added 116 yards on five receptions.
