Random recollections of a ho-hum Saturday as I wait for my Maurice Jones-Drew feature to work its way up the ESPN Mag edit chain. • Watching what Missouri QB Brad Smith did to Nebraska's alleged Blackshirts on Saturday has me thinking back to something a Big 12 coach had said about the Tiger QB before the season: You think of passers as getting hot sometimes when they can't miss.
