First Period -- My Hockey Night Friday was a good hockey day. It began with a telephone interview on an Arizona morning radio show (KDUS AM 1060). I speculated that I didn't think Brett Hull would last the season after seeing how fast the game has become. After my appearance, I received a call from someone who heard my comments and confirmed that the Coyotes were talking to Hull about going out with grace, that the game was too fast and he was too slow to be effective.
