Practice Makes Better In the middle of the 2003-04 season, I went to a Rangers' practice to speak to a few players about a story that I was working on. As that practice unfolded, I couldn't believe my eyes. The Rangers, then coached by team president/general manager Glen Sather, did minutes and minutes of 2-on-0 and 3-on-1 drills.
