Northwestern handed Wisconsin its first loss of the season, thanks in part to a 41-point second half. Quarterback Brett Basanez led the comeback on offense, while senior linebacker Tim McGarigle was all over the field on defense. Out West, USC continues to roll, having won 27 straight games heading into South Bend.
