I hope you're enjoying the best month of the year as much as I am. Hope springs eternal in September. Everybody starts out unbeaten and full of optimism. The leaves begin to change, and we head to October with a clearer picture of the contenders and pretenders. And, of course, we get our first look at the USC Song Girls.
