In the U.S., Cammi Granato is the face of women's hockey. Last Wednesday night, longtime American women's coach Ben Smith decided to slap that face. Inexplicably, four months after helping Team USA to its first World Championship gold medal, Granato was cut from the 2006 Olympic team.
