EXPN.com Saturday, August 6, 2005 Notes Skateboard Big Air launched Saturday with a Selection Session. Eight riders competed for three open slots in Sunday's Big Air finals. Bob Burnquist, Bucky Lasek and Rob Lorifice advanced. Riders could choose between two ramps: a roll-in of about 80 feet to a 70 foot 3 inch gap, or a roll-in of about 65 feet to a 60 foot 9 inch gap. Both ramps kicked to a 27-foot 3-inch quarter-pipe. Of course, the top three finishers from 2004 (Danny Way, PLG and Andy Mac) automatically earned golden ... Activate your ESPN Profile!
