Thursday's Skateboard Street event was full of "firsts", and we're not just talking about Paul Rodriguez winning back-to-back golds. For starters, the final was the first of the 2005 summer X Games, held under brilliant sunshine at the Staples Center in downtown LA, a couple of hours before the ESPN TV cameras launched into live coverage.
