Thursday, July 28, 2005 New York Islanders: The team signed forward Jeremy Colliton, its second-round pick in the 2003 draft, to a three-year, entry-level contract. The 20-year-old Colliton had 16 goals and 30 assists in 41 games last season with Prince Albert of the Western Hockey League. He missed part of the season because of a knee injury that has healed.
