Monday, July 25, 2005 Woodward Camp in State College, PA, has been a training ground for the best freestyle BMX riders for nearly 20 years. Woodward opened as a gymnastics camp in 1970, until it added skateboarding to the lineup in 1982, followed by BMX in 1987. The camp began as a meager collection of two quarterpipes, kick-turn ramps, a dirt jump built into the side of a hill, and one indoor building with a wedge ramp.
