LSU lands three on first team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Eight LSU players were named to the 2005 Southeastern Conference Coaches Preseason All-Conference football team, the conference announced Wednesday. Andrew Whitworth, LaRon Landry and Skyler Green led the list of Tigers selected to the All-SEC first team. Whitworth, a senior offensive tackle, started all 12 games last season and enters 2005 with 39 straight starts.
