The real NFL draft takes place on Saturday and Sunday in New York, but the ESPNEWS SportsNation Live Fan Draft for the first round took place on Friday afternoon. SportsNation had the 49ers taking Utah quarterback Alex Smith, the Dolphins selecting Auburn running back Ronnie Brown, and the Browns picking Michigan wide receiver Braylon Edwards.
