PHOENIX (AP) -- It's never good when two players get plunked on getaway day. Oakland shortstop Bobby Crosby left the Athletics' 6-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers in the fourth inning with a bruised left hand after being hit by a pitch from Gary Glover. Then in the seventh, A's outfielder Hiram Bocachica left the game after he was hit by a pitch on the right wrist by Matt Wise. Both players will have X-rays Thursday back in the Bay Area.
