Atlanta Falcons: Thirteen-year veteran quarterback Ty Detmer, an unrestricted free agent, has re-signed with the Falcons. Detmer, who has played for six different teams in his career, signed a one-year contract that included a league minimum base salary of $765,000. Detmer, 37, did not see any action for the Falcons in the 2004 season, his first year with the club. He served as the "emergency" No. 3 quarterback in 15 of 16 games.
