BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) -- John Chaney's return to the bench for Temple came without any fanfare -- and without any success for the Owls. Zabian Dowdell scored 12 of his 16 points in the second half, six in a game-turning 8-0 run, and Virginia Tech beat the Owls 60-50 on Tuesday night in the first round of the NIT.
