SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Brandon Gay scored 21 of his career-high 31 points in the second half and Ross DeRogatis added a career-high 28 to lead San Diego to an 87-73 win over Santa Clara Thursday night. Gay played a pivotal role in a 22-8 second-half run that allowed the Toreros to take control of the game.
