When you have a professional golf tour whose 2005 season starts in 2004 there are two ways to view the situation: Either it is a tour in trouble, or it is a highly imaginative and relentlessly resilient circuit with a decidedly strong survival instinct. In the case of the European Tour, it is definitely the latter.
