ESPN Insider Tuesday, November 23, 2004 The turkey, a decided underdog who never wins (let alone covers), is in the oven, basting and scheduled to be carved in football households sometime between halftime of Detroit-Indianapolis and the start of Chicago-Dallas. The pumpkin pie will be out just in time for West Virginia's kickoff at Pittburgh. It's a day to be thankful, but diehard college football fans are thankful every autumn Saturday.
