Monday, November 1, 2004 TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Quarterback Chris Rix will start for No. 13 Florida State on Saturday against Duke, but he won't be throwing any passes to the team's leading receiver. The Seminoles suspended Craphonso Thorpe for the game because the wide receiver has missed too many classes, coach Bobby Bowden said Tuesday. The announcement came one day after Bowden said Rix would reclaim the job as starting quarterback, which he lost six games ago to Wyatt Sexton. Thorpe has a team-high 31 catches for 3 ...
