Training camp is supposed to be a time for optimism for all 30 teams. So, why has there been so much distress and controversy in camp this year? It's tied primarily to a growing nervousness among players that the rules of the collective bargaining agreement are nearing expiration. So far, only four players out of a possible 50 or so eligible players have gotten their contract extensions done.
