NBA Insider Wednesday, October 13, 2004 The amazing thing about the pairing of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal is not that they were able to average a combined 52.96 points per game together, but that they were able to do it for the last five years. In the beginning of their championship run, it was Shaq averaging 29.7 points per game. Near the end of their dynasty, it was Kobe averaging 30 points per game.
