ESPN.com Friday, September 3, 2004 Fifty-seven quarterbacks started at least one regular-season game in 2003. Backups combined for 95 starts, nearly three per franchise, and six clubs were forced to employ three different starters. Heck, the much-traveled Neil O'Donnell pulled himself out of retirement and away from the big-screen TV, where he had been perched all year, long enough to start the Tennessee Titans' season finale.
