Monday afternoon. I made it. Barely. I'm here on the plane. Leaving L.A.. Back to New York City. I'm sitting in my emergency isle seat next to a boyish-looking, bespectacled Asian woman with a short haircut that the flight attendants keep accidentally calling, 'sir.'
