Everyone has a system when it comes to ranking teams in the NFL. Ours is simple: Break each team into positional units, rank them 1-32, then add up the results. It's no surprise the New England Patriots, winners of two of the last three Super Bowls, are No. 1 overall, ranking in the top five in five of eight categories.
