Special to ESPN Insider Thursday, August 5, 2004 After hitting the road to see over 800 players this spring and summer, it's time to take a very early look at which teams are doing the best job of reeling those players in. Most of the top players have not committed, so my initial top 25 recruiting classes for 2005 is definitely a work in progress. The current order is based on potenial, buzz and current verbal commitments. It might seem odd to have Virginia at the top and USC near the bottom, but remember, the recruiting race is often won ...
