San Diego Padres-Texas Rangers: The Padres' acquisition of Brad Fullmer from the Rangers has been called off, as Fullmer will be on the DL longer than expected, ESPN's Peter Gammons reports. Fullmer was put on the 15-day DL on Monday. He is sidelined with a sore right knee, the same one on which he had surgery last season.
