As Perry Farrell would say, summertime rolls. And speaking of the 80's, legendary vert skater Christian Hosoi was released from a Hawaiian correctional facility in early June, following a nearly three-year incarceration for drug possession. Hosoi and Tony Hawk were the biggest skate stars of the 1980's, but a downward spiral of drugs led to his arrest in 2000. In September of 2001, Hosoi was sentenced to five years, 10 months.
