The Oklahoma Sooners have their fifth commitment in receiver Manuel Johnson of Gilmer, Tex., who had 79 receptions as a junior. Among those offering scholarships were Kansas State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Houston. Maryland has 11 commitments after pledging defensive linemen Jeremy Navarre of Joppa-Joppatowne, Md., over Penn State; and Barrod Heggs of Garden City, Ga.
