Among those offering scholarships were Kansas State, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Houston. Maryland has 11 commitments after pledging defensive linemen Jeremy Navarre of Joppa-Joppatowne, Md., over Penn State; and Barrod Heggs of Garden City, Ga.
