Wildcats ink 7-2 center

Guard David Godbold of Oklahoma City-Douglass, Okla., has signed with the Oklahoma Sooners. Arizona has signed 7-2 center Chukwuma Charles Okawandu of Lagos, Nigeria. Southern Mississippi and coach Larry Eustachy announced the signing of guard Solomon Brown of Los Angeles, Cal/St. Thomas More Prep, Conn/Iona/Cypress CC, Cal/Louisiana Tech/Los Angeles CC, Cal. The Golden Eagles recently gained guard Michael Ford of Macon, Ga/Los Angeles Southwest CC, Cal., who averaged 24.4 points last season. ...
