Sooners nab UC-Riverside transfer

Sophomore forward Nate Carter of San Diego-Horizon, Cal., a transfer from UC-Riverside, is headed to the Oklahoma Sooners. He averaged 15.3 points last season. Xavier has signed Super Prospect guard/forward Churchill Odia of Nigeria/Rockville-Montrose Christian, Md. Odia, whose visa situation is uncertain, was also interested in Louisville.
