Hairston selects Oregon over Kansas

One of the nation's top high school prospects, guard/forward Malik Hairston of Detroit-Renaissance, Mich., has chosen the Oregon Ducks over Kansas. Other finalists included Ohio State, Oklahoma, UCLA and Michigan. He averaged 20 points, 11 rebounds, six assists and five blocks as a senior, and was named to the first-team Parade and McDonald's All-America teams.
